Abbi Pulling Parts Ways with Alpine, Joins Rodin Motorsports for 2025 GB3 Season

Abbi Pulling won the F1 Academy at a canter last season, with the Alpine driver finishing on the podium in every round. Having won the formula, Pulling moved to GB3, and she decided to leave the French team.

Pulling will race for Rodin Motorsport for the 2025 season. Rodin won the GB3 championship last season with Louis Sharp and Pulling will hope they can continue that success for this upcoming season.

Abbi Pulling will race for Rodin in 2025

Abbi Pulling left Alpine after her successful campaign in F1 Academy. She has moved to GB3 for the 2025 season and joined Rodin Cars. However, she has already driven for the team in 2024, competing in some of the races in F4.

Speaking about leaving Alpine, Pulling said: “After our championship-winning season in F1 Academy and after lengthy discussions I have decided not to renew with the BWT Alpine Formula 1 Team.”

F1 Academy to Bring Back Reverse Grids for the 2025 Season

A huge thank you to everyone at the team, from those at the factory to the incredible partners and sponsors, for all their support along the way. I’ve met some amazing people and made memories that will stay with me forever.”

Pulling leaves Alpine for Rodin with ambitions of climbing the pecking order and trying to get into higher formulae. Drivers like Lando Norris drove for Rodin. However, it is bad news for Alpine, after F2 driver Victor Martins also left the team. They are losing good young talent, which is concerning the French outfit. However, this could be because Alpine had an abundance of talent waiting for their chance in F1.

Abbi Pulling’s history in motorsport

Abbi Pulling is the current F1 Academy champion. However, she did struggle to make an impact the season before. She failed to win a race that season but did step on the podium on seven occasions. She finished fifth in the championship before dominating her title-winning season.

Pulling competed in F4 in 2020 for JHR Developments where she scored four podiums finishing sixth in the championship. In 2021, she raced in just over half the races and scored three podiums. The 21-year-old racer returned to F4 with Rodin in 2024, competing in all but two race weekends. She scored her first victory at Brands Hatch as well as recording two other podium places.

Pulling raced in the Complete W series in 2021 and 2022. She had a better season in the latter, scoring two podiums and finishing fourth in the championship. The following season, she joined F1 Academy, where she made a name for herself.
