Formula 1: Drive to Survive is a Netflix original series produced in collaboration with Formula 1. It recaps a Formula 1 season but with added dramatization. It also includes exclusive interviews and a lot of behind-the-scenes footage of the teams and drivers.
The series always recaps the season previous to the year it releases a new season. It started back in 2019 and recapped the 2018 season. It has gained a positive reputation in the F1 community due to the additional insight it provides and the way it uses drama to attract a wider audience to the sport.
