In normal seasons, all F1 teams show off their new cars and liveries on launch dates of their choosing separately. Over two weeks in February, fans clamber to see what their favourite car will look like for the upcoming season.
However, this season will be different, with a special season launch being held in London. All ten teams, from Ferrari to Williams, will join the stage at the 02 Arena to show off their new liveries and ideas to the world, but why is it happening?
F1 teams to join together for first-ever livery reveal to mark special date
F1 has planned this special season launch to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the sport. The event will see all ten cars revealed, as well as all drivers and team principals come together to mark the celebrations.
Stefano Domenicali, President & CEO of Formula 1, said: “For the first time we will bring together our fans, all 20 superstars of our sport, and some very special guests to officially kick off our new season and mark our 75th year of racing.”
