Every four years, the FIA elects a new president who will lead the FIA and act in its best interests during their term. Sebastian Vettel has indicated interest in running for FIA president in the future during a recent interview.

Sebastian Vettel Hints at Shock Return to Red Bull in Major Post-Racing Role
“It would be unserious to say now: Yes, I can imagine that. Ross Brawn knows better what type of person fits that position.”
Ross Brawn was Formula 1’s Managing and technical director from 2017 until 2022 and once hinted that Vettel could be an ideal FIA president. Brawn suggested that in this position, he could not only influence motorsport topics but also help shape the direction of general mobility issues. Vettel’s future in motorsport explained
While Vettel does not want to run for FIA President this year just yet, There are still many other roles for the F1 veteran to fill in motorsport. The German driver is suggested as the successor of Helmut Marko at Red Bull Racing, should he choose to retire. Vettel has also made several comments on making a racing return in other series.
One of the reasons that made Vettel retire was the high demand an F1 season put on your personal life. A complete Formula 1 season consists of 24 races. This means 24 weeks of Grand Prix, test days when there isn’t a race and working behind the scenes to improve the team. Should Vettel get back into a racing car he wants a less intense schedule and fewer races per year.
