The inaugural Las Vegas Grand Prix took place last season. The event featured great on-track action, notably when Charles Leclerc overtook Sergio Perez on the final lap. Drivers battled hard to put on a show for fans up and down the grid. However, it was also the off-track action that caught the eye.
The fans attending the first race in Vegas were entertained. Last season’s opening ceremony featured music from Kylie Minogue and John Legend and performances from Blue Man Group and Cirque du Solie. Drivers were then paraded out team by team in front of the fans. But what can we expect from this year’s race?
Who is set to perform at the Las Vegas Grand Prix?
Although an opening ceremony is yet to be announced for this year, there is still plenty of off-track action. Headline acts include One Republic, Ludacris, and Alesso, and they will perform at the Sphere Stage staggered throughout the weekend.

Renee Wilm, CEO of Las Vegas Grand Prix said: “Las Vegas is the Sports and Entertainment Capital of the World, so we knew we needed to bring an all-star line-up for this year’s Las Vegas Grand Prix. Fans can expect an extraordinary set of live acts, with performances from major names in entertainment to electrifying sets by beloved DJs and many more.”
They promise to be something for everyone to enjoy at the race weekend where Max Verstappen could seal his fourth title in a row. Las Vegas is again putting on a show for the fans both off-track and hopefully on-track too.
What teams have announced special liveries for the Las Vegas GP?
Last season saw many one-off special liveries at the Grand Prix. This year, a few teams have announced they will follow suit. Alpine will debut a new pink livery, which the team will use for the rest of the season. Alpine did have a pink livery at the start of the season but it now looks better due to Alpine not being overweight.

Sauber will sport a ‘flame’ livery as a tribute to Las Vegas. Drivers Valtteri Bottas and Zhou Guanyu will also have flames on their race suits, while the flames will also be seen in the garage. Williams has announced they will keep the yellow engine cover, but will now have the branding of cybersecurity company ‘Keeper’.
Ferrari has teamed up with Paramount Pictures ahead of the release of Gladiator II. Drivers Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz attended the premiere of the film in London earlier this week. The collaboration will see exclusive content shown across digital and TV channels, while a special Gladiator livery has been teased.
